Jack Fink
General Manager
Southlake Dragons
Team Name: Carroll High School, Southlake, TX, nickname Dragons.
Manager: Jack Fink, recently retired. I currently do volunteer work for the USO
at DFW Airport. Graduated from St Joseph’s University, Philadelphia, PA.
Background: Born and raised in Philadelphia, spent 10 years in Chicago
(1986-1996) and have been living in North Texas since 1996. Southlake is a
suburb of Dallas/Ft Worth, near DFW Airport.
Family – My wife, Debi, a Chicago native, works for the Burlington Northern
Santa Fe Railway Co and is a graduate of Benedictine University, Lisle, IL. I
have a son and daughter from a previous marriage, both grown. My son Ryan
graduated from Penn State University and is currently living in Washington, DC.
My daughter Robin graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia and still
resides in Philly.
Hobbies: Have been playing in APBA leagues since the early ‘80s. I’m currently
Commish of a basic game league (AABA) and a BBW league (FlyByNight). Besides
APBA, my dog – Crackers – and I attend obedience, drill team and agility classes
together on a weekly basis. Crackers will be 2 years old in February 2007. She’s
a mutt, about 44 lbs, and looks like a smaller version of a Golden Retriever. I
also enjoy tennis and an occasional game of Bridge.
Favorite Teams – Still like the Philly teams – Eagles, Phillies, Flyers and
76ers and also the Chicago teams – Bears, Cubs, Bulls (not White Sox, Black
Hawks so much) and the Dallas teams – love the Mavs and Stars, like the Rangers,
still warming up to the Cowboys.
